Just In Multi offers various recording/ingest modes:
- Crash Mode: record video signals on the fly.
- Loop Recording Mode: the recording process will loop until the end of the given chunk length (up to 12-hours) and automatically continue to record/overwrite into the same file from the beginning. (QT only)
- Batch Mode: record a predefined batch list of clips from a connected VTR deck over the RS-422 serial protocol.
- Schedule Mode: record clips based on events in the local Apple Calendar calendar of the engine machine.
Just In provides integrated machine control over the RS-422 serial protocol. Note that the maximum recording length is 12 hours per clip in any case.
