This figure shows a typical redundant setup. just:connect is installed on both – the master and the slave playout machine – but runs only on the master playout machine where the slave machine runs only just:out. On the slave playout machine, just:connect is installed but not started, so in case the master machine fails, this machine can take over. One or several Just Live/Just Play UIs are controlling this channel. This setup can also be reproduced in cases where more than one channel is required.
