CORE I/O provides keyboard shortcuts for common dashboard, widget, editing, and configuration tasks. Shortcuts do not run while you type in a text field.
Most widget shortcuts require keyboard focus. Select a viewer or player by clicking its picture; an orange border indicates the selection. Click inside a File Browser, Loop Segment Exporter, or Rough Cut Editor to give it focus. Only one widget can have keyboard focus at a time. Click an empty dashboard area to return focus to the dashboard. Cmd/Ctrl means Cmd on macOS and Ctrl on other systems.

Record Viewer
These shortcuts apply to the selected viewer. If several Record Viewers are selected, they apply to the complete selection. A locked widget ignores the shortcuts, and most commands require the flow to be idle.
The A, Shift+A, M, and C shortcuts are not available to the Viewer role. Opening one settings dialog closes any other settings dialog.

Single Player
These shortcuts are active while the player is selected, unlocked, and has a file loaded.

In show mode, I, O, and D are disabled because in and out points are stored with the show clips.
Loop Segment Exporter
These shortcuts are active while the exporter has keyboard focus. The exporter receives focus when it is added and whenever you click inside it.

File Browser
These shortcuts are active after you click inside the File Browser. The file table must have focus for arrow-key navigation and renaming.

The File Browser opens this editor panel when you press E or select Show Preview. The shortcuts are active while the panel has focus.

The Rough Cut Editor has three keyboard focus areas: the source monitor, the program monitor, and the sequence. Click an area to give it focus.

Timecode fields
Editable timecode fields accept digits plus colon (:) and semicolon (;) characters. This applies to the rulers in the Loop Segment Exporter, file editor, and Rough Cut Editor, and to the position field in the Single Player. Press Enter to move to the entered timecode, or Escape to leave the value unchanged.
