15.7 Live Input Video, Fill+Key Output Signal (v.2026.x)

  • You must unlock the Configuration panel first to perform any changes.

  • Before proceeding, you must stop the Channel by deactivating the checkbox. Stopping the channel will also stop the Just Out Primary engine output, unless there is a Redundant engine available.

A Channel can receive a “live signal”, or play out a Fill+Key signal. The functionality may differ, depending on the used video device or streaming format. Please refer to the dedicated Chapter 5a. Live Input Signal Handling (v.2026.x) for more information regarding this.

  • On, default pass-thru: Select this setting in case there is a “live signal” available which you would like to “pass-thru” to the available outputs while a live event is scheduled. The default output is the signal which is attached to the “SDI 1” input in case no playlist is playing in the timeline.

Activate Fill+Key

The ability to play out Fill & Key requires an AJA/BMD device or a streaming format which supports it.
